There are pink peonies, and there are coral peonies. And then there is Etched Salmon - a variety that escapes both categories.
Its color sits exactly in between: warm salmon pink with a delicate silvery sheen along the petal edges, as if each bloom had been carefully etched by hand. That's where the name comes from - etched, engraved, finely traced.
Etched Salmon is an award-winning variety. It received the American Peony Society Gold Medal in 2002 and has since become one of the most sought-after peonies among florists worldwide. It's grown in limited quantities and the season is short.

Seasonality and availability
Etched Salmon is an early midseason peony, blooming from early to mid-May. It's a limited variety - growers produce it in smaller quantities, which is why it's only available for a few weeks each year.
If you love this variety, we recommend ordering early. Once the season ends, no other peony can replace it - the color is genuinely unique.
Care guide
- Water - fill the vase halfway with cold water, top up daily
- Cut - trim stems at an angle, about 2 cm, under running water
- Spot - a cool place away from direct sunlight and drafts
- Patience - firm buds will open within 24–48 hours
