Natural Variability
• Peonies may be delivered in different stages of bloom – from tightly closed buds to partially opened flowers.
• Firmer buds last longer and will gradually open in your home.

Peony Care
• Trim the stems with a sharp knife (1–2 cm) before placing them in water.
• Use a clean vase and fresh cold water.
• Change the water daily or every other day.
• Keep the bouquet away from direct sunlight, heaters, and drafts.
• If the buds are very firm, you can gently “wake them up” by softly massaging the flower head in your palms.
